Lieber Gast vom Europe Hotel & Spa

Bist Du gerade bei einem gediegenen Nachtessen im Europe Hotel in Zermatt? Dann hast Du bestimmt ein Stück Fleisch von unserem Hof auf deinem Teller. Willst Du mehr dazu wissen, wo und wie das Tier aufgewachsen ist?

Das Rind hiess ALBA, ist am 8. August 2024 bei uns auf dem Hof im Neckertal Kanton St. Gallen geboren. Es war eine Kreuzung zwischen Pinzgauer und Limousin.

Alba war von der Geburt an immer bei der Mutter und seiner Herde. Konnte täglich bei der Mutter Milch trinken, hat schnell angefangen Heu und Gras zu fressen und hatte im Stall einen Brunnen mit laufendem Wasser direkt ab Quelle.

Are you currently enjoying a dignified dinner at the Hotel Europe in Zermatt? Then you’ve probably got a piece of meat from our farm on your plate. Do you want to know more about where and how the animal grew up?

The cow was called ALBA, was born on August 8, 2024 on our farm in the Neckertal canton of St. Gallen. It was a hybrid between a Pinzgauer and a Limousin.

Alba was always with his mother and his herd from birth. He was able to drink milk from his mother every day, quickly started eating hay and grass and had a well in the stable with running water directly from the spring.
